Dig Holes for your Plants to Breathe

Digging holes in the soil will benefit plant roots by supplying oxygen to them. In most pots, over time, the soil compacts itself and blocks out oxygen, thus suffocating the plant roots. You can dig holes at least once a month to ensure good oxygen apply. Water the plants only when you find the soil totally dry or the leaves of your plant seem dehydrated. Try this out and observe the results.
